Cleanouts and Larger Projects

Reset does more than single-item pickup. We clear approved material from homes, rentals, estates, offices, storage units, garages, and outdoor spaces. Larger jobs are planned around trailer space, weight, labor, access, and disposal requirements.

Property cleanouts

Whole-home, estate, rental, eviction, foreclosure, hoarding, and storage-unit cleanouts.

Commercial cleanouts

Office furniture, shelving, boxes, and nonhazardous business junk from accessible areas.

Removal and light demo

Hot tubs, trampolines, sheds, playsets, fencing, decking, and other structures after scope confirmation.

Good to know: We can often combine different item types in one pickup. A couch, refrigerator, boxes, patio furniture, and garage clutter do not require separate appointments when they can be hauled safely together.

Items That Need Confirmation First

Some material is not an automatic yes or no. Disposal rules, weight, condition, access, and local facility requirements can change how the job must be handled. Text photos before moving any of these:

Heavy material

  • Concrete, brick, block, rock, and dirt
  • Roofing, tile, drywall, and dense debris
  • Safes and unusually heavy equipment

Special household items

  • Pianos and oversized exercise machines
  • Refrigerators or freezers with food inside
  • Items with refrigerant, oil, or fluids

Teardown projects

  • Hot tubs, sheds, playsets, and trampolines
  • Fencing and deck material
  • Anything attached to plumbing, gas, or electrical service

Appliances must be safely disconnected before removal. For demolition work, utilities and hidden hazards must be addressed before the crew starts.

Hazardous Materials We Cannot Load

Standard junk-removal equipment is not designed or permitted for hazardous waste. Reset does not load unknown chemicals, fuels, wet paint, biohazards, medical waste, explosives, asbestos-containing material, or other regulated hazardous material.

Do not mix questionable material into a junk pile. Keep containers closed, avoid spills, and contact the appropriate local hazardous-waste program. If you are unsure what something is, send a clear photo and label information before the appointment.

Propane cylinders, automotive batteries, tires, liquids, and similar special-disposal items must be confirmed before pickup. Acceptance may depend on condition and the currently available disposal outlet.

How We Quote Mixed Loads

Small pickups start at a $75 minimum. Your final quote depends on how much trailer space the items use, total weight, labor, stairs or difficult access, teardown, and special disposal fees. Photos help us estimate quickly, and you approve the price before anything is loaded.

For a room, garage, rental, or whole-home cleanout, take a few wide photos plus close-ups of anything heavy or unusual. Tell us where the material is located and whether there are stairs, gates, elevators, or tight turns.

What We Take: Common Questions

Can you take furniture and appliances together?

Yes. Mixed household loads are common. Appliances must be disconnected, empty, and safe to move before pickup.

Do you take one item?

Yes. Reset handles single bulky items as well as full cleanouts. Our minimum covers the crew, vehicle, loading, and disposal trip.

Do I need to move items to the curb?

No. We provide full-service removal from inside or outside when access is safe. Tell us about stairs, narrow halls, or gates before arrival.

What happens to usable items?

When an item is reusable and an appropriate outlet is available, we donate or recycle what we reasonably can before disposing of the rest.

What is the fastest way to confirm an unusual item?

Text a clear photo, an approximate size, and where it is located. We will confirm whether we can take it and whether special handling affects the quote.

Send the pile, not a long explanation
